List three influences of the dysfunctional environment Lucy grew up in. How might these have affected Lucy as an adult?

Answer 1

When the individual cannot be supported and encountered in the life for their achievements they suffer from dysfunctional environment as illustrated in the case Lucy was suffering from dysfunctional family relationship. The dysfunctional family relationship would be occurred because of the addiction of mother in the family (Lambert, 2012). Lucy grew up in conflicting family environment as the first ten years in the life of Lucy was the fight between her parents and he parents ignored the children. Lucy was suffering from anxiety and depression as the family environment was conflicting and this has a negative impact upon the up bringing of the child.

These were the initial psychological symptoms however, these symptoms further lead towards the anxiety and depression as identified in Lucy. Lucy was angry with her friend and her anger resulted in anxiety and depression. However, Lucy was addictive like her parents and the addictive families suffered from the dysfunctional family environment.

The major reason behaving Lucy condition was the dysfunctional family environment.

In addition, the second born will be the sufferer and they usually suffer from anxiety and depression if they were not given importance in the family. The similar modelling and reinforcement was provided to all the siblings in the family as Lucy was close to her younger sister because she do not interfere and provide options for Lucy and guides her to the right path. The last born child in the family seems to be loved by parents and they were saving from family conflicts. The family conflicts have a major impact upon the first born and middle born child.
