Do Wynn's comments on the opportunities in his hotels seem to indicate that the employer or employee is responsible for career development?

Wynn has summarized perfectly what he believes is the responsible business management method in Hotel Management, and has emphasized on the role of both employees and employers in career development. I believe the real estate magnate has emphasized on the fact that employees must cater to their own needs as per their careers, and avail opportunities that are provided to them through being vigilant. He believes certain vigor is needed by employees to aim for a secure future, and not all employees will be able to move ahead in their paths if they don't take the initiative. He has demonstrated this through several examples, and continues to talk of it throughout the video. Career development is a strong suit of the video and is discussed at length.

Leadership is a significant concept in every aspect of our lives since, even in the most democratic situations, there must be someone in charge. The need arises because the role of organizing and facilitating a group of people must only be appointed to one individual who possesses the ability to take control. These individuals are found in almost every aspect of our lives. Our teachers managers, artists, politicians, entrepreneurs and even parents are a form of leadership and stability in our lives, this it is critical to accept this role. There are a few different forms of leadership, and in the video Wynn talks about how employees must dedicate their passions to becoming leaders in their own professions. They can do this through taking the initiative in finding and availing opportunities as they are presented to them.

Although a lot of people from diverse backgrounds may find themselves performing the duties of a leader, it doesn't mean that everyone is fit for the role, or that effective in their ability to handle a pressuring situation. Recognizing the needs of a group and catering them is an ability that not many would have, as there are individual personality types that are more able to handle leadership responsibilities. A few features seem to be repeated among leadership n business as well as different industries. A leader must be outstanding, charismatic, ideological and pragmatic. It may not be important to have all of these qualities, neither to undergo a major personality change in order for a leader to be effective. Leadership style analyzes the manner as well as the approach through which direction is sought, plans are implemented and the work force is motivated. There are three styles of leadership, authoritarian, democratic and delegative. While it has been observed that ideological leaders try to utilize all three forms of leadership, it may not come that easily.
