Introduction

The paper analyses the challenge that influenced on effective management of the organizational knowledge. Codified knowledge is one transcribed into structured procedures or logical reasoning, in short, that which can be, transformed into information, and it is the main part of discussion of the paper. Codification of explicit knowledge can be achieved by several techniques like cognitive mapping, decision trees, knowledge taxonomies, and task analysis.

This knowledge then transformed into information a marketable product, which can be easily stored in databases, expert systems introduced, reproduced in many copies, transmitted across networks. The trend towards codification of knowledge is increasing, and the development of tools to use this knowledge codified. ICTs play a crucial role. They increase the added value of codified knowledge by allowing transfer to long distance and at low cost.

For businesses, the first advantage of codification is that it reduces some costs associated with the acquisition of knowledge. Access to databases can be cheaper than setting up a documentation centre. The use of an expert system can be more efficient than to enlist its own experts, but the cost will not necessarily lower. The fact of codifying knowledge, be listed on a support, has the effect of giving the knowledge of properties similar to those of a substantial asset. It can be traded, to be sold, purchased, stored - but beware of the expiration date. The most important limitation of the codification of knowledge certainly changed. The codification of knowledge is a complex and expensive, but the life of codified knowledge can be very brief. It often invests a lot to understand and use codified knowledge.

Codified knowledge is the skills, knowledge, skills, intuition, heuristics, and so on. Codified knowledge is personal knowledge difficult to translate and articulate. The perpetuation of codified knowledge through tradition and experience sharing, it done through learning, training for employment. The effectiveness of the mission of an organization provided by the codified knowledge in the sense that because of her good deeds taken to the work unit to reach its objectives. Codified knowledge also provides a creative force - intuition and heuristics can often solve difficult problems easily otherwise creditworthy. Codified knowledge is implicit knowledge as explicit knowledge governed by the rule that a given action to a situation. While a knowledge society, based on the development of experience throughout life, there is often a setting aside of older workers, for opportunistic reasons. Experience-based reflective learning paradoxically required the younger, who have yet to acquire it, and denied to the elderly, who have invested time and energy.

Codified knowledge is knowledge that linked to human intervention. It cannot be translated into computer language or fixed in a format. The qualification of a worker includes codified knowledge but also an important part of codified knowledge. A qualified person following in his work, unconsciously, the rules not known as such but under its qualification and experience. Codified knowledge refers to actions that can be achieved without being able ...
