Research work by Forster (2004) identifies that the daily lives of People recorded significant improvements in between late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Notably, people's lives advanced from simple, to advanced techniques, and eventually to significantly convenient ways. However, studies by Dovey (1999) have revealed an emergency of inventions that resulted to profound influences on humanity. Forster (2004) argues that People relied on candles to provide light during nights, although afterward there were inventions of the light bulb. Forster adds that people were free to access light any time without risking chances like lighting houses on fire. Additionally, scholarly work by Dovey (1999) reveals that there was the invention of refrigeration, which made lives improved because one could store food in iceboxes as opposed to using semi-spoiled foodstuffs that were merely stored with salt. Further more Dovey (1999) recognizes that people had the Pony Express, which was the only means to communicate significantly long distances, however, today with utilization of Morse codes; people can now swiftly use telegrams to reach numerous others miles away.

In as much as this term paper discusses the changes on daily life several years since 1800, I shall focus on industrialization and urbanization as modernization processes. Significantly, the term paper explores the existing trends features of urbanization and industrialization by noting noticeable changes since 1880. In order to gather first hand information on the two social processes of Industrialization, and Urbanization that have significantly impacted on the daily lives, I was thinking of finding a person who does not impart me some text book knowledge but I wanted a person that must have first have experience of these two things. He must have gone through these modern evaluations. I looked here and there and as I looked, I thought that talking to my grandfather would be a good idea. He is the person who has done it all, he has faced many difficulties.

It always feels great to be back at your home. No matter how many places life takes, there are instances when you want to get back to the place where it all started for you. And it always feels great to be back with your grandfather, he always has these interesting stories to tell about his life. I was working at a university project at that time and my topic was to research on Industrialization, and urbanization. I was thinking of finding a person who does not impart me some text book knowledge but I wanted a person that must have first have experience of these two things.
