This paper discusses about the efficacy and establishment of setting an immigrant education consultancy in Australia. Being an immigrant myself from Congo, living in Australia for the past five years have changed me as a person through countless life enhancing experiences. The main reason for choosing this nature of business was through personal observation related to many fake immigration and education consultancies operating that do not deliver what they promise and take monetary advantage from their vulnerable clients. The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of networking in business context. This is discussed in the following section of the paper.
Discussion
The prime aim of the immigration and education consultancy named Excel-ate is too provide guidance to its clients mainly from non-English speaking countries, and have chosen to settle in Australia permanently. As well as, to aid young foreign students to choose good colleges and schools related to their field in Australia.
Building Network
According to Pearce (2007) networking is important for all types of individuals, especially for those who are in a leadership position. For leaders, networking is deemed to a critical skill which helps them in all of their different endeavours. Similarly, Van Emmerik et.al, (2006) highlights that in business context, networking helps to increase an individual's exposure with other people in an organization. Networking helps to build and nurture personal and professional relationships to create a system of contacts, support and information, which can play a detrimental role in the personal and professional success of an individual. Thus, figure 1 illustrates a networking map for the start-up business highlighted before.

From the above outlined map, I believe that University and College Admission officers, Social Media and contact with Immigration officers are the prime contacts for Excel-ate. In order to make these three groups of contacts of Excel-ate, the following measures would be taken:
Personal meetings through taking personal appointments.
Social Media marketing and other promotional tools such as pamphlets, brochures and more.
Personal referrals through personal social circle of friends and families.
With the above procedures, Excel-ate can be promoted on a mutually beneficial basis, since all the networking groups and individuals are professionally aligned with the business and are interrelated. Conversely, other three networking opportunities could be through attending career and educational fairs organized by universities and colleges and setting up a small stall in such activities. Moreover, leaving brochures and contact cards at the immigration offices is another key networking tool. Lastly, offering a variety of consulting services such as free first consultations would attract interested individuals and groups to approach the consultancy.
Building Network Contact List
According to Herron (2010) any individual could build their networking contact's database for personal and professional purposes. With aid of different computing tools and software, these databases could be developed in various formats ranging from simple designs to highly interactive and graphic databases.
