Theft of time is referred to the activity of the employees in which they do not perform their organizational tasks, and still attain the monetary compensation. The major factor which leads to the activity of time theft in the contemporary workplace environment is the size of the multinational organizations, which employ thousands of individuals (Kulas et al, 2007). In this environment it is very difficult for the management to critically analyze the performance and the activity of the individual employees. In the current global business environment time theft is a crucial issue, as the companies are moving toward maximum efficiency. Due to the high level of competition introduced by the process of globalization, these companies cannot afford to have human resources, who waste the time resource of the company.

The productivity of all of the employees has to be monitored on an objective and high tech system, which can highlight the individuals who are not functioning at their optimal performance levels. In this objective and performance based organizational environment the majority of the employees would be encouraged to utilize their organizational time to achieve the relevant professional goals and objectives.

The term whistle blowing refers to the activity of the internal stakeholders of the organizational entity, such as the employees; to make highlight any forms of unethical or illegal activities occurring in the company. The organization is a very complex entity which has several departments and sectors which have to function in a collaborative manner. In this scenario there might be certain employees or even managers who undertake illegal activities, to attain certain positive results. The whistle blowing policy of the company, allows the employees to highlight and report any instances of unethical activities (Goodson, 2012). This policy helps the employees within the company to work in a conducive and professional environment, without the fear of being pressurized in to performing unethical or illegal activities. In the long term perspective it is beneficial for a company to implement a comprehensive whistle blowing policy to ensure that the relevant internal stakeholders of the company work in a highly ethical and professional manner.
