Assessment of the Plan

Assessment of the Plan

Introduction

There is a need to imagine oneself as a service-disabled veteran and have made your hobby of building model airplanes into a small business that produces very small remote control aircraft capable of long sustained flights. There is a need to expand the business by competing for Department of Homeland Security contracts. There is a need to determine at least three (3) specific programs created by Congress that benefit your business. The second step will be to analyze the small-business programs created by Congress and provide details of how they will benefit the company over large multinational organizations that build aircrafts (e.g., Lockheed Martin). Therefore, all the issues and aspects related to the Assessment of the Plan for building up an aircraft will be discussed in detail.

The service disabled veteran has a vital aim to develop a suitable aircraft that needs an approval from the US Congress on this matter. The veteran has an experience of building model airplanes as a hobby and later developed a small business which produces very small remote control aircraft that has the tendency to increase sustained flights. The major goal also has been to expand the business by competing for Department of Homeland Security contracts. This is one of the most challenging tasks because it is not easy to get a contract for the Department of Homeland Security. The reason is that there are some large firms that are usually successful in securing contracts for the Aircrafts. Normally, the deals involve a considerable amount because it is the nature of the contract which proves to be a major factor in setting up the costs (Clarke, Johnson, Nemhauser & Zhu, 1997).
