Abstract

Background: The human health resources evalution is used these days to observe the indicators of health and performance of work. The main aim of the study is to examine the monitoring and development of human resources for health policy in three countries. Moreover, the use of facility based human resource evaluation tests are also validated.

Methods: Different questionnaires were given and data was collected for processing. The statistics are also presented in this paper that help in the qualitative analysis of the data.

Results: The results indicated that there is a huge difference in the health delivery services of both sectors and the differences were observed in three countries. Some common factors were also observed in the countries like the practices of nursing and midwifery both were important in both the countries.

Conclusion: There is a need to develop best practices and tools that can help in the implementation of decision making.it will help in the omprovemnt of the people.

Assessment of Human Resources for Health

The main aim of this paper is to evaluate the human health resources that are available for health by making use of the cross national comparison of three countries. They also wish to inform about the monitoring and development of human health resources in the countries.

Three countries were selected to participate in the study and the participants were selected on the basis of availability of human health resources. The collection of data was supported by national collaborating agency. It was also assured that the sampling of frames should be done in the same way by every participant country.

Research Methodology

The data for assessment was collected in three countries by using a common study design. The quantitative study design was selected for the research and it included social interviews and surveys with many healthcare providers of the countries. The survey contained many questions including questions about work activities, remuneration, demographic characteristics, workplace conditions and professional qualifications. Furthermore, supplementary information was collected regarding the distribution of staff according to the location and different other characteristics of work place. Standard guidelines and questionnaires for the processing and collection of data were used so that the results among the countries can be compared. The guidelines of standards for all the fields were provided by WHO. The software templates were created by making use of SPSS data entry builder and the questionnaires were translated according to the languages of the countries. The healthcare providers are the dependent variablestudy whereas, the independent variables are the demographic characteristics, work activities, remuneration, workplace conditions and professional qualifications of the healthcare providers.

Results

The results indicated that the survey samples in the countries showed biasness to the private sector. The response rate of providers along with the facilities was found to be decreasing in a country.
