Differential Subtypes of Offending Among Adolescent Girls Predict Health and Criminality in Adulthood

The purpose of conducting this research was to determine the role of juvenile delinquency among adolescent girls. It is evident that a huge number of adolescent girls got involved in criminality and thus we needed to determine the core reasons behind such a trend. The core activities of adolescent girls got examined so as to arrive at appropriate conclusions regarding their role in juvenile delinquency.

Offending and health concerns got associated with such adolescents and thus the research analyzed the primary causes leading to this increasing rate of juvenile delinquency in such adolescents (Angela, Barbara, Dickon & Candice, 2013).

The adolescent women got analyzed on a comprehensive basis in order to help the researcher in accomplishing the research purposes. The findings in the case of this research point to the fact that justice involved girls should not be treated as a similar category in comparison with other categories. The findings show that the authorities concerned must have an exclusive emphasis on the girls that are at higher risk of juvenile delinquency in adolescence.

In other words, the law enforcement agencies must look to provide intervention and prevention services for girls at their adolescence stage rather than waiting for them to grow further to the next stage. Girls, in their adolescence stage, are quite immature and thus can be easily exploited ((Angela, Barbara, Dickon & Candice, 2013).

Thus, the provision of prevention and intervention services would be highly effective in the case of adolescent girls. It would make sure that the girls have gotten aware of the consequences with regards to juvenile delinquency right at the beginning.
