Introduction

Understanding the personality of human beings is not an easy task at all. Moreover, when it comes to developing and associating different traits with different people throughout the world; many problems come into play including how different people have no similarities with each other (Campbell et al., 2010). With regards to the class teachings regarding the different approaches to personality such as psychoanalytic, humanistic and biological approach etcetera; the selected article provides a view into how the lives of introverts are with regards to their view of being extroverted. In order to better understand about the selected article, an in depth discussion regarding the relevant factors is required.

General Problem Addressed

In this article, the general problem being addressed is how the people who have an introvert personality fail to understand the life of an extrovert. Moreover, the article also highlights a problem related to how overly estimated stress introverts feel when they are asked to imagine themselves living in the lives of an extrovert.

Article Hypothesis

The Hypothesis on which the authors have worked was that in comparison to extraverts, affective forecasts could be made with regards to extraverts strongly preferring extraverted behavior and introverts predicting more positive affect with regards to introverted behavior.
