The article has been extracted from telegraph.co.uk, which has been posted on October 5, 2012 by Katharine Horrocks, who articulated the story which involves her own two sons, one of whom is suffering from Down's syndrome. The disease has another name which is trisomy 21, it a genetic disorder, which is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome, which is chromosome 21. This is one of the most common disorders of chromosomes, which is a kind of an abnormality in human beings. Mostly the disorder occurs due to the delay in the cognitive ability and physical growth, and also because of special set of facial characters. Furthermore, in the Down syndrome, the average IQ of the children is about 50, however on the contrary the average IQ of normal child without the disorder is 100. However, the individual with the Down syndrome has a severe level of intellectual disability (Lennard, 2010).

However, further reviewing the article by Katharine Horrocks, she argues that the children mainly get benefits from inclusion in mainstream schools. She particularly depicted the story of her child, who is suffering from the Down's syndrome. She narrated the story, that held when the schools were off, and she had to get most of the time along with her children including the one who is suffering from Down's syndrome. She exclaimed that she felt quite relieved when she finally sent her children to school, after the vacations. Her two sons, Alexander who is seven years old, and is suffering from Down's syndrome, and the other one's name is Robert who is four and a half years old.

Katherine is actually speaking for her Down's syndrome affected son Alexander, who is not heard anywhere in the article.In this article she further explains the condition of her two boys, including the one who is suffering from Down's syndrome. She explained that they have a good habit of playing together, but they need constant supervision, if she does not put eye on them, especially on Alexander who is a Down's syndrome affected, he usually have the habit of hitting on the television, in addition to hit, sometimes chew the toys, or wee on the floor. She actually is narrated the basic habits, most of which are the signs and the symptoms of the person with a Down's syndrome, which is actually the theme of the article. Katherine realizes that Alexander has a need of the special school, where children like him, has specified 20 hours a week, Katharine was actually very worried about her son Alexander, she knew the he needs a school, where teachers, and the school itself pays attention towards the needs of an individual according to the requirement. However she was afraid to send him to the same school, as the new children would have come in the class. She was also worried of the fact that, Alexander's teachers will say about her son's behavior (Katharine, 2012).
