Introduction

Occupational health and safety management got its approval in July 2005. ASSE members started the debate over the implementation of these standards. The society then collaborated with AIHA and Z10 to make the standards available. To know the response of ASSE members, the society sent 250 emails to various members to share their feedback. These feedbacks give strengths and weaknesses of the standard. The ASSE society attorney wrote some legal opinion that came into notice. The main objective of OHS management system is to increase the workplace safety. The ISO standards and health safety management have proposed new benchmarks for safety standards. OSHA is with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and is responsible for developing and enforcing workplace safety and health regulation. OSHA's mission is to encourage and declare workplace safety and health and decrease workplace sufferers, injury and illness (Manuele, 2005).

Legal Implications of Z10 on the Health and Safety Professional, As Well As Their Employer

SH&E employees have encouraged the occupational Health and Safety Management system. There are many legal implications of Z10 and their employees. They gave to follow General Duty Clause given by the Federal OSHA. There are all elements included in ANSI Z10 that OSHA has. ANSI Z10 has to oblige with OSHA (Barnett, 2006). The adaptation of ANSI Z10 is the compliance of OSHA. These are the following implementation that is required by the Z10 to implement itself and by the employees, and if the following things happened then the organization will be legally bound.

Employees failed keep the workplace hazard free

Hazard pointed by the employer itself or by employers industry

The hazardous material makes serious harm or caused any casualty

Easy methods available to remove hazard, but not implemented

These are some rules and legal laws that must be followed by the ANSI Z10 organizations. There are health and safety standards that should be implemented by the company. It is significant to comply with the given instructions.
