It generates ideas and hypotheses that can help understand how an issue is perceived by the target population and to define or identify options related to this issue. This technique is used in many pre-test concepts (Basch, 2004, p. 11). Qualitative research is based on semi-structured or even unstructured in which the moderator or interviewer working with a discussion guide and an interview guide developed by topic and focus of the study.
