The shifting standards approach is primarily concerned with the judgment of stereotyped community having the objective scales. It is basically the judgment and evaluation that can be enforced on the group which will be evaluated. It creates the model of assessing future of the group members by making essential norms for behaviour. In simple words, the shifting standard is an extension with the capability of examination as per the standards of stereotypes.
