There is no doubt about the fact that many new artists came to the fore in Florence, Italy during 15th century including Pollaiuolo and Sandro Botticelli who were recognized as masters. In addition, paintings of Alberti, Mantua and Mantegna presented the articulation of linear perception from individuals' perspective, reflection of classical poetics and antiquarianism (Hartt, 1988). In fact, painting was the main characteristic of early renaissance art that can be seen as a strong illustration of humanist ideals. This period allowed painters like Robert Campin and Rogier van der Weyden to render a classic work containing depth and symbolism. This remarkable development in painting also motivated foreign artists, who were eager to learn new techniques of oil painting, to flock to the region (Stokstad & Cothren, 2010).
Further, High Renaissance in Italy is generally recognized as an important era that could be discussed to identify the adoption of different techniques in art, which embodies the effective and efficient utilization of colors and designs to make a variety of different pieces.
