Introduction

Abortion was declared legal in the United States in the year 1973. After being legalized there were several objections raised in view of the moral, ethical and religious values. This paper studies the importance and the impact on health arising from abortion. The health problems are related to diseases, physical and mental problems. Prior to opposing abortion, groups in favor of abortion have also pointed out the issues and the complications linked with abortion, including the abuse and hazards in delivering a baby. The physical condition of the woman that gets the abortion deteriorates and there are a number of serious consequences. After the sanctioning of fetus removal, there were some issues raised observing the after health impacts of premature birth. Ladies are not savvy to the post premature birth impacts. The ladies don't take in fitting measures while engaging in sexual relations which prompts un- needed pregnancy. At the point that ladies need to dispose of this unwanted pregnancy, they take the track of premature birth. Premature birth sticks some health issues incorporating physical and mental. It all hinges on the earth in which a lady exists. Provided that fitting cognizance is made, ladies may not take the track of fetus removal and carry on with the pregnancy. Be that as it may there are certain cases which are exemptions and in the previously mentioned case premature births come to be obligatory.

Arguments against Abortion

Women have psychological problems because of the removal of fetus. Abortion can have a lifetime scar on the mind of the woman and is ranked as the second most stressful event. Abortion can remove the stress that is linked with unwanted pregnancy, but the process is stressful on its own. If the woman does not have any strong beliefs in religious, cultural, social and moral values than she will be able to find a way to deal with the post abortion stress. If the people in the woman's social sphere do not view abortion as favorable and the values that she is bound to be strong then the experience would be disturbing. The impact on the woman depends on how society views abortion (Steinberg & Finer, 2011, p.72-82).

Post Abortion stress is mainly caused by lack of assistance by friends and family, aborting a wanted pregnancy, burden to abort and hostility faced by the people. All these factors lead to the recognized risk of stress in the woman's life. The woman may not be able to calculate and deal with the stress that is cause by the abortion.

The procedure of abortion can be a distressing experience in a woman's life due to the factors that associated with it.
