Introduction

Capital punishment is the process of law in which offenders of crime are given punishment of death for the offence or crime. The crimes that lead to capital punishment are sometimes called death penalty or death offences. Capital punishment has been practiced and observed by several countries of the globe. At the moment just fifty eight countries are vigorously practicing capital punishment in their states. On the other side ninety seven countries have eliminated the practice of capital punishment in their law (Day & Delfino, 2009). A lot of countries just permit capital punishment in unusual cases such as for the period of war. Capital punishment has turn out to be a vast argument in several countries as a number of countries pursue it and a number of countries do not incorporate within their legal system. Capital punishment, in European Union, has been eliminated according to their law of basic rights.

Certainly, the capital punishment is the final sanction and earliest history. And certainly therefore, is what has happened and carries on today, more discussion or debate. This nature of conflict, is due also to the punishment, involves a way of seeing society and in particular to the individual, especially the individual criminal (Hermann, 2008). Therefore, in the argument, many regulations are labeled and involved in the name of social science that varies from criminology to sociology, to philosophy, to politics, and law amongst others. It's obvious as well that religion, however not one of these regulations is also involved.

Capital punishment is justified or not? Is it humanitarian? What role does it plays in the crimes prevention? Answers to such type of queries will definitely be dissimilar from each other depending on the reality that who is acting in response to a query. Capital punishment leads to a number of debatable concerns. There've been so many disputes on the issue. In the essay I will be discussing the capital punishment by giving arguments against capital punishment. I am against capital punishment because I think that murder is wrong. A criminal's life can't pay compensation for the offense committed. Basically, two wrongs do not make a right.

Arguments
