Introduction

Article “Alternative archaeologies: nationalist, colonialist, imperialist”, by Trigger examines the differences and similarities in the questions that had been asked by the prehistoric archaeologists, and the answers accepted logically in the different parts of the world, under changing social conditions. The archaeology of different countries of the world strongly influenced by location and regions occupy within the modern world system. In this article, 3 different types of archaeology i.e. Nationalist, Colonialist, and Imperialist were examined.
