Araby

Introduction

The short story collection "Dubliners" is Joyce's work that best portrays his hometown, Dublin, and the Dubliners, because data from the city were fresh in his mind when writing in 1905 (Curnutt, pp. 1127). This Araby is one of the stories in this collection reminiscent of an adult on a pivotal moment in his childhood.
