Discussion
The current approach of Going Green Technology is a reactive one where the action is taken when the incident has occurred. The “Do not fix it unless it's broken” is a strategy that focuses on doing things as they come. There is no planning and room for dealing with any form of emergency that may arise in the organization. In order to be able face the challenges it is important to address the possible threats that may arise due to any reason. The environment is dynamic and change is inevitable, so if the organization does not foresee the changes it will face many challenges. The center of total quality management revolves around the client service delivery, and at each boundary there are a number of processes. The center must be contained by obligation to quality, communication of the message, and identification of the requirement to change the culture. The foundation of total quality management is people, processes, and systems.
Total quality management is described as a management approach that tries to realize and stand by lifelong organizational success by supporting employee criticism and involvement, fulfilling client expectations and needs, caring for societal qualities and convictions, and obeying government laws and regulations. TQM is a way of thinking and operating that is concerned with meeting the needs and expectations of consumers, and also dedicated to reducing the costs of quality and continuous improvement process. Cost is an important factor in ensuring that the organization is able to grow as it leads to increase in profits. Reducing cost does not mean to decrease the quality but it means to reduce the waste that leads to increase in costs (Lai & Cheng, 2003, pp.141-154). For this company, the success of delivering the green product depends on making the operations of the other organizations efficient. If the company itself does not apply these principles in its own organization, it will not be able to convince its clients about the services that it delivers.
