Northrop Grumman is the leading global security solutions provider company. It is providing services in the areas of aerospace, electronics, information systems, and technical services. They have four important business units and sectors which are aerospace systems, electronic systems, information systems, and technical services.

This sector provides comprehensive enterprise solutions and provides information systems support to commanders, police and firefighters, battlefield commanders, Department of Homeland Security, intelligence analysts, missile defense analysts, states, counties and cities, and to businesses.

The technical services are concerned with providing assistance to governments in their defense and national security programs. It provides global services for domestic and territorial security, nuclear security, asymmetrical warfare, and other activities like modernization through sustainment. Its principal customers include governments including the US departments of Homeland Security, Defense, and Energy. Their current prime services include information on Cyber security, C4ISR, unmanned aerial systems (including drones), and logistics (Northrop Grumman, 2012).
