Introduction

In order to reflect my opinions about my management report, it is important to understand what writing a dissertation means to me. Writing a dissertation on Logistics and Supply Chain Management was a different experience as it was a pure management report with an in-depth analysis and management solutions. I have been writing since the moment that I learned to put two or three words together to form a sentence. However, writing this dissertation was a great learning experience to me where I enhanced my skills to conduct research and writing academic papers.

Reflection has been defined as the process of internally examining and exploring an issue of concern this has been prompted by an experience and the concept of terms of self is clarified and its meaning is also created and changed into a conceptual perspective. An academic writing skill is not just about the content but also representation of self. An academic writing skill is an important aspect of professional development for student and lecturers.

Developing critical thinking skills has helped me to improve in my essay planning and literature extensive reading of literatures, journals and materials obtained from blackboard, my understanding of critical analysis has significantly improved. I am now aware that to reflect or to think critically involves investigating and imagining alternative scenarios.

Purpose of This Reflective Report

The paper is about my writing experience from my learning about writing techniques and methods. Throughout the course work, I have learned many new creative ideas and skills about writing. The paper reflects me as a part of writer writing about his skills and experience of writing. This showed me a new career path and makes me realize the importance of writings in my field. I always worry about my assignments and draft that require creative writing skills but this course made me realize that actually I am capable to write and possess excellent writing skills that were explored by learning this course.

I believe that academic writing is a form of evaluation that asks you to demonstrate knowledge and show proficiency with certain disciplinary skills of thinking, interpreting, and presenting. It is important to know about the process of academic writing and how an essay to be structured; whereas knowing about the appropriate style and conventions to use in essay writing is equally important. Academic writing is structured, formal and objective. Although there is significant improvement in my academic writing, I need to put sufficient efforts in this area in order to achieve my goal as a lifelong leaner. I now realize that critical thinking skills are nothing more than problem solving skills that result in reliable knowledge.

Writing is an outlet for the signed and is a way to raise the emotions, memories and impressions, as if photographing a moment. In my opinion this action is intimate and pure.
