I am writing to you with reference to your job advertisement posted on the website NHS Jobs.com regarding a position for a Staff Nurse in the Lichfield Day Surgery Unit of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. The job posting advertises the need for certified professional nursing staff who have specialized in the field of ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Trauma. The advert also mentions how applicants having prior experience in the relevant field will be given a higher consideration.

I would like to express my interest in the advertised job as I believe that my credentials and prior professional experience fit the specifications for the job position. For example, the fact that I have received certifications and completed courses in a wide range of fields strengthens my case. I chose the noble profession of nursing in the year 2007 and completed a certified course in First Step in Childcare from OCR Entry Level Certificate in Adult Numeracy in 2008.

I consequently completed a course in Customer Care in Complaint Handling for Health and Safety in the year 2009. This course was particularly helpful for me as it allowed me to develop my skills in terms of handling the complaints of customers. The course also helped me considerably in developing my communication skills, allowing me to understand and respond to the queries and complaints of customers in a more comprehensive manner.
