I am inclined to pursue my education in the field of business and management. To be precise, I am interested in studying the field of finance and accounting. I believe that my capabilities and interests match with the studies of the financial and accounting aspects of a business. Since the days of school, I have always gained interest in the mathematical and statistical classes. The concepts of math like the equations, calculations, and theorems persuaded me to indulge myself in the career related to finance. The statistical tools, charts and analysis were always a subject of attention. Unlike all the other classes, I used to be extremely proactive in math and statistics classes. The teachers used to appreciate for my knowledge and expertise in the mathematical and statistical working and analysis. At the end of my high school, I had some basic idea about studying more in the field in relation to numbers and analysis. I was unable to gain a credible experience related to the field that I wanted to pursue because of family problems and some restraints from home about working outside. However, I kept on studying and after completing one year of community college, I got my first job opportunity. I got a job of handling the cash payments at a local retail store. The experience of working as a cashier was enriching. I got a very close of the business operations applicable in the market. I also realized the importance of maintaining cash properly. If cash balances and accounts are not matched properly, then there is a chance that the suppliers and customer will take advantage, and the business will make losses. I also learned about the selling of products on credit in some cases where the relationship with the customer is important. I also analyzed the fact that it is important to continuous cross check the accounts and cash statements with the physical inventory in order to find any losses or even patterns of shoplifting.
