Good morning respected committee members I Anthony Uka an intelligent student of your university. I am currently enrolled in the last semester of my course PhD in human services and counseling, that have passed all of his courses in high distinction. The entire university teacher considers me as an intelligent student mainly because of my participative and supportive attitude in the class (Brause, 1999).

Submission of dissertation is the essential requirement of the completion of my PhD degree, and for that, I have selected the most debatable topic “How has posttraumatic stress disorder affected the lifestyles of soldiers who have returned home”. The prime objective of writing this email to the honorable dissertation committee is to describe them about the concept of my topic, its importance, objective of my dissertation (Endicott, 2010).

After the 9/11, United States of America is constantly fighting from terrorism to free this world from the terror of these people. On average thousands of American troops are having died in this, national cause and tens of thousands of troops are continuously fighting for the past ten years firstly in Iraq and now in Afghanistan. Staying in the battlefield is not an easy job, as it requires lots of focus, intentions, and will to stay away from the family for longer period

Life of those individual that are have spent considerable time in the battlefield contains no emotion, friends, happiness; rather the mission of their lives is to defeat their enemy, and in these circumstances it become difficult for these individual to adjust to changing environment. on the other, after knowing the their loved one is returning, home after considerable time, families, friends, and relative become excited, and immediately start planning of surprising the individual not knowing the mental condition of that individual(Hovland, 2010). When an army officer returns to his home, it takes time for him to adjust to this environment and at that moment, all the loved ones have especial role to play in order to ensure the quick rehabilitation of their family members.
