ABSTRACT
The study aims to analyse the case analysis of Apple with respect to the change management and strategic decision making that Apple adopted. The case suggests that Apple shifted from being the personal computer focused company to the digital hub. The case is analysed by the qualitative, method facilitated by the secondary research. The aim is to examine the comprehensive strategies of Apple and the pros and cons of such actions (Fields, 2006,, 75).
Summary
Apple Computers was founded in 1976, and since then the company is considered one of the groundbreakers of the technological, innovation industry. The study aims to analyse the case analysis of Apple with respect to the change management and strategic decision making that Apple adopted. The case suggests that Apple shifted from being the personal computer focused company to the digital hub. The study aims to analyse the case analysis of Apple with respect to the change management and strategic decision making that Apple adopted. One problem was the small percentage of Apple's share of the business market, which was only 1% because of the high price of Apple's products. The high price of Apple's products caused the sales to decline, which accordingly slowed the company's growth. The case suggests that Apple shifted from being the personal computer focused company to the digital hub. For small and large enterprises, Apple believes IT simplification will help the company to grow in the business segment. Apple has become the name of innovation; the key success for Apple is its innovation. Every time Apple produced a product, it contains some new technology. This proactive approach has helped Apple to run smoothly towards a digital hub of which a large population is a part. However, as the smart phone market continues to penetrate the overall mobile subscriber base, we estimate that the iPhone will experience modest growth in net sales. Continuous innovation has made the company one of the most successful companies in the world. However, for persistent growth Apple needs to be smart to fight aggressive competition in the technology industry by focusing its direction towards innovation as always (Fortune, 2010,, 87).
