Apple Inc., one of the giants in the corporate world and a multinational corporation. The company was formerly known as Apple Computer, Inc. The company is headquartered in California with numerous outlets and sub offices throughout the globe. Apple Inc. specializes in technology oriented products and services like personal computers, operating systems, computer software and hardware, and consumer electronics.

The renowned products of Apple Inc. are the iPod, iPhone, iPad, Mac Os and Safari web browser. Apple Inc. has always maintained its image as a market leader with introducing innovative products for the consumers, taking the first mover advantage.

History

In 1976, Apple Inc. was founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. In the initial phase of the company, the products introduced were Apple I and Apple II which was a revolution of personal computer. Later on, in 1980s the company launched Macintosh which was another success story for the market as it reinvented personal computers. The founders were highly devoted for modern and highly innovative technology products.

In the year 2001, Apple Inc. came up with one of the most successful technology product in the history namely 'iPod'. iPod changed the world of music with its amazing functions. It catered a gap in the market where consumers desired music players with more storage capacity and other features. In 2007, Apple Inc. came up with iPhone, another revolution in the category of smart phones and the technology world. The device has an extremely efficient touch interface. iTunes was introduced by the company, software which had the capability to integrate data within the personal computer and iPhone (music, documents, etc.). In 2010, the Apple Inc. released iPad which was another addition to the smart devices and has enormous features. The company apart its own genre and name is also referred with its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steve Jobs, one of the most reputable names in the business world (Data Monitor, 2006).

Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple Inc. along with Steve Wozniak. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc. and a successful entrepreneur. Steve Jobs was a brand himself; his personality has been an influence for many people as he revolutionized the technology world. He withdrew from his college and spent much of his time in creativity, partnering with Steve Wozniak. His death was a big upset for the business world (Kaipa, 2012).
