Introduction

This paper addresses chapter three of the course reader, which is titled Christian Identity. The Identity groups claim to be Christians but with a violent and argumentative way of thinking. What the Identity believers think about Trinity and the atonement is still not clear, but it is certain that the groups share the same ideology which is their aggression against Jews, Catholics, and races other than the Whites. (Borgeson & Valeri, 2009)

Discussion

The Identity groups are commit acts of terrorism in the U.S. The unusual type of Christianity is the result of the ideology of the White supremacists. However, by White only includes Anglo-Saxon Protestants.

Pre-Adamic

According to the Identity Christians, mankind doesn't have a single genetic source but have a distinct origin which is opposed to the biblical account. Identity Christians believe that god created the Whites, the Devine creation, who are descendants of Adam and Eve whereas the non-Whites advanced from the inferiors which are the Pre-Adamic. The Pre-Adamic came about due to evolution and are believed to be the mud people.

The Christian Identity believers state that White race was given birthed by Adam and Eve and the inferior who are the non-Caucasian races (non-Whites), came before Adam and Eve. The non-Caucasian races are also called as the beasts of the field. The followers of the Christian Identity also believe that it was only 6,000 years ago when Adam was created, whereas the non-Caucasians existed as early as the distant older epochs occurring at the other continents
