Introduction

Social work is one of those fields of the world that require a consistent performance in order to improve the quality of life or the living standard of other people. Social work may be done for individuals, group, communities, etc. social work is done free of cost which means that a major part of work done by social workers are done free of cost, which means they don't charge salary for it. Social work is very exciting field which is full of rewards for people who are looking forward to achieve them, and this world needs such people who can live to help others.

Social workers have a very strong desire to help those in trouble; social workers help people in their best way so that they can work out on their relationships, and solve personal and social problems. Social workers may have a different sort of duties and responsibilities which may vary in nature as compared to the other jobs. A social worker may help out people on the following problems like, un employment, inadequate house, lack of job skills, financial crisis, mental disorder, disability etc. social work is a field where there is no end and has very diversity in it self.

Main body

Where I will be working with youths in the community, watching over them as they play in a room full of toys and games and addressing any social needs. This means that I will have a very good chance to help out the youth and understand their problems and help them out.

Anne and finch is what most of the people today have heard of, it is a neighborhood located in northwester North York, which is in the district of Toronto Canada. The area is roughly bounded by Highway 400 to the west, Driftwood Avenue to the east, Grand ravine Drive to the south, and Shoreham Drive to the north. It is a multicultural neighborhood. This community has its major concerns or major works over criminal gangs of Canada. Anne and Finch has the highest proportion of youth, refugees etc as compared to any other neighborhood of the world.

Jane finch actually came into being in the 1960's as a response to the growing population of Toronto. The neighborhood initially was planned to accommodate the population with the public housing system, but due to lack of planning and infrastructure a lot of problems were faced.

In the 1960's, the OHC (Ontario Housing Corporation) developmental plans merged u0p with the plans of the housing authority of New York which was, aimed towards constructing an urban looking suburb. Jane finch in the initial phases grew a lot as the population of this neighborhood rose from 1300 to 33000, which means that this neighborhood has been very effective since the initial stages.
