Introduction

An antibiotic is often known antibacterial, is something which has the capability to kill bacteria or at least make their growth sluggish. As a matter of fact, they are usually used to cure several diseases. Although antibiotic does not stop a virus, yet they produce enough resistance to protect such inhibition. The term antibiotic was first coined in the year 1942 by Selman Waksman, as substance produced by microorganisms.
