Emotional design: why we love (or hate) everyday things
The book pops with fresh paradigms, applying scientific rigor to our romance with the inanimate. Norman gave a pretty good introduction to designing products that elicit emotions we want our users to have. But I found he was presenting too much examples in too great detail that i found myself skipping examples here and there (Norman, 2004). And because of that, the takeaway for each chapter wasn't apparent and requires repeated readings. There are some repetitions across the 7 chapters, but still the discussions are very helpful.
