The author in this study has tried to identify teaching strategies generally used at teacher training institution of Hong Kong. These strategies are frequently used by English department of Hong Kong. This research used both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The results of this study founded variety of teacher's strategies along with the frequency of using those strategies. the author in this study focused on student's diverse cultural backgrounds with higher education of Hong Kong and therefore it provided the insights of students on learning and teaching in general. This study significantly contributed to the innovation and development of higher education in Hong Kong.

Regardless of the discipline of health care, evidence practice has become the core competency of all health around the globe. Evidence based practice integrates best research with patient values and clinical expertise in health care which helps in achieving optimal heath outcomes. Integrating skills and role modeling needed to develop evidence based practice into non clinical and clinical course is a significant part in developing constructive attitudes towards evidence based practice. It is an important and first step to suing evidence to direct practice decision. Melnyk and colleagues has provided a step by step approach to evidence practice which is considered as an excellent organizing framework for teaching strategies especially it is designed to skills and knowledge development of nurses in evidence based practice.
