The article that I have chosen for annotated bibliography is 'What's Wrong with Strategy' by Campbell Andrew and Alexander Marcus. By focusing on the author of this article, i have come to know the problem lies in the strategic planning. The importance of the business environment of today, and the many associated problems may arise. The article describes some problems that may occur during the strategic planning and the importance of performance goals during the planning phase. This article offers a systematic approach for creating performance measures to follow the plan, the various features of them and, finally, a short "how" of implementing the plan.Analytical Summary

Campbell and Alexander in this article discussed several problems that occur in the phase of strategic planning. The first problem discussed refers to the "disconnect" between the organization efforts for strategic planning and real measurements of action.

The Wave of the normal business hours program should be some flexibility to match the plan to provide the best possible success of the plan. Without either of which take place each plan, no matter how well designed, will not benefit from the company. As the administration usually play an important role in strategic planning, it is essential to keep the possibility of this problem in mind, not to be on their victims. Along with this problem for several situations in which revenue unnecessary because what is needed cannot efficiently meet the usual procedure is responsible lost. Par to be a successful employee must be positive before a plan reaches the stage of implementation that can be coordinated so that the loss of income does not overshadow the increase in total revenue.
