The first topic was based on article related to what certainly contributes in the patient and parent satisfaction who are given medication for treating children suffering from ADHD (Görtz-Dorten, 2011).

The topic is related to the factors that contribute to patient and parent satisfaction with medication in the treatment of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In this case, the background of the ADHD, causes and symptoms were discussed. The information was important because the topic also highlighted the impact of this disease on the children. This disease requires a treatment for the children as it can get severe with the passage of time. It was mentioned that ADHD affects the children very badly. It becomes much more painful for them during their studies. They find it difficult to concentrate during the classrooms and it affects their academic performance. After the discussion of the problems, the treatment options were then highlighted for the number of children who were included in the sample size.

The primary research was conducted to gather the opinions from the parents, civil society members, teachers and many other people for the treatment. The main reason was to have an idea related to their overall views on the treatment of the ADHD. This was a necessary step because it is important to take parents, members, teachers and many other people into confidence and also address their concerns. The results of the interviews and questions were then compiled in order to present the conclusion on the topic. The development of the rating scale also had a lot of value in the topic. The topic was related with the importance of long term medication in improving the academic outcomes of youth suffering with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
