The main objective of this research is to find out the recent trends and issues related to the pregnancy among the adolescents. This research report will also update the practitioners and pediatrics related to the policies, legal laws and implications on the teenagers who are getting pregnant. The report has highlighted that in recent times the number of teen pregnancies is reducing but still there are teenagers who get pregnant. The reason identified by researcher for a decline in the number of teen pregnant is due to the advancement in technology, new observations and a large amount of data has emerged related to the preventions of teen pregnancies. The report will play a vital role in achieving the aim of the US society to reduce the number of teen pregnant.

The objective of the research study was to find out the rate pregnancy, birth rates, sexually active teens and sexually experienced teen's rates during the period of 1990 till 1995. In order to analyze the national data a group of participants between 15 to 19 years were taken. The rate of sexually active teenagers in 1995 was 40% and the annual rate of teen pregnancy declined by 13%. On the same time the abortion rate also declined from 21% to 9% in 1995. Overall the results of the study concluded that although there was a rise in the teen pregnancy till 1990 but after that from 1991 this rate started to decline and is still declining. The study recommended that counseling of teens by physicians play a vital role in reducing the pregnancy rate and making them sexually well mannered.

The objective of this research is to find out the impact of socioeconomic factors on the rates of pregnancy and to find out the variation in the rates of pregnancy in Scotland and how much have these rates changed over a passage of time. The data was collected from the local hospitals and the sample population aged in between 13-19 who were getting their treatments in the NHS hospitals. The findings of the research found that the rate difference between affluent and deprived areas have increased due to poor allocation of resources from the government. Thus discrimination of resources leads towards increase in social issues which are found as the major reason behind the increase in pregnancy in deprived areas.
