This paper studies the connection between binge drinking and illicit and disorderly activities among the youth aged between18-24 yr olds. Binge drinking, and particularly male gorge drinking is statistically related to criminal behavior. Multivariate analysis showed that binge drinking continueds to be robustly associated with illicit and rebellious behavior even subsequent to taking other pertinent factors into consideration. These findings propose that incidence of drunkenness is a superior indicator of criminal behavior than regularity of drinking per se.
