Introduction

In this paper, we will discuss Andragogy and Technology in schools. Learning is the only way through which a human being can grasp different skills and expertise. Learning is the procedure which has enabled human beings to distinguish themselves from animals; it is the procedure through which human beings became a social and civilized entity. Andragogy learning was an attempt to create a theory to differentiate learning in childhood from learning in adulthood. Earlier informative and psychological ideas, for demonstration, concentrated mostly on behaviorism as the source of human development while latest ideas have progressively been incorporating the function of cognition in the development process. Despite being only ideas with flaws and without decisive responses we have 3 adults, who have disabilities, these ideas are very precious to us. For learning, we will use Cognitive and Humanistic theory.

Cognitive theory stresses cognition and sees learning like occurring within the learner. It focuses on processing rather than behavior. Andragogy also focus on process and Andragogy is a perspective on humanistic learner- centered curriculum development, and enactment popularized by Malcolm Knowles within the field of adult education. Adult education as an academic and professional field was still young. Andragogy was initially grounded in the perception that the prescriptive curricular models used in K-I2 settings were inappropriate for adult education, and Knowles positioned his work specifically as a reaction against classic Tylerian approach.

What Is Andragogy?

Andragogy learning strategies are focused on adults. It is the methods or techniques used to teach adults. It is defined a substitute to pedagogy and refers to learner-focused education for people of all ages. It emphasizes process more than content. It is currently defines an alternative to pedagogy and refers to learner-focused education for people of all ages (Dolores, 2000).

Technology & Assumptions of Andragogy

Through andragogy, the distribution of knowledge is circular and reciprocal, rather than linear. There's a collaborative sharing of experience among learners, and learning is centered on real-life situations. Each learner is responsible for his or her own learning (Cercone, 2008).

Assumptions about how and why adults learn:

Adults need to know why they need to learn.

Adults have a self-concept of being responsible for their own decisions - they have a psychological need to be seen by others as capable of self-direction.
