Civilization is described as the composite society or culture group distinguished by the practice of agriculture and settlement in cities and towns. Civilizations when compared with other members of civilization are generally structured into a diverse distribution of labor and a complex social hierarchy. Civilization is often used as a synonym for culture in broader term. Civilization distinguishes from other culture by their complex social and organization hierarchy, and by their assorted culture and economic activities (Corbisley, 1990).
