Introduction

Our endocrine system is a collection of endocrine glands. Endocrine glands are the glands that discharge their secretions directly into the blood stream rather than through ducts. That is why they are termed as 'ductless glands' in other words. They are responsible for the production and release of hormones that direct your physique's development, metabolism, and sexual advancement and capacity. Some of the main endocrine glands which constitute the endocrine system include Pancreas, Pituitary gland, Adrenal gland, Ovaries, Testis, and Thyroid gland.
