This study will focus on the effects of a realistic merger and acquisition on attitude and behaviour of employees in India. The people problem not only blocks the creation of synergistic values, but also it acts as a direct cause of M&A failure. M&A may fail when the M&A process are flawed, particularly during the transition and post integration stage because bad execution almost always wrecks one that might have had a shot. It will elaborate the different aspect of mergers and acquisitions. The study will cover the cross cultural conflicts that are likely to occur in mergers and acquisitions. Further it will explain the impact on the attitude and behaviour of the Indian employees. It will also help us in understand the issues related to managerial performance in mergers and acquisitions. The study will adopt the primary method in order to gather the data regarding the opinion of the respondents towards mergers and acquisitions. Data was collected with the help of the web survey. Respondents were asked to fill in the questionnaire. The total no. of respondents were 30 and they all were residing in India and working in companies. The data was analyzed with the help of the descriptive statistics and the hypothesis will be tested with the help of ANNOVA. The testing of the hypothesis will help us in understand the impact of mergers and acquisitions towards the attitude and behaviour of the employee.
