ABSTRACT
This research study is an attempt to explore the relationship between the leaders and the performance of the employees working at InterContinental Hotel situated in Hong Kong. The aim of this research study is to examine the interrelationship that prevails between the performance of employees and leadership within the banquet operation team in InterContinental Hong Kong. This research study has adopted for a quantitative method. A survey questionnaire has been constructed for obtaining the responses of respondents and interview was conducted with the manager of InterContinental Hotel in Hong Kong. The results of this research study showed that the performance of an employee is highly dependent on the leaders in the organisation. The results, furthermore explained that leadership plays a significantly important role in the hotel to maintain the performance of the employees.
