Introduction

Terrorism remains a major threat to peace and security. Contemporary terrorism is no longer purely domestic or transnational, but truly international (Fernando, 2011). The United States is facing the threat of terrorism on its own territory, more than nine years ago, and after various efforts by US Government America is still at Risk. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate why America is still at risk and is it because of New Styles of terrorism or is there any other reason. A series of terrorist acts have taken place in recent days in America, Terrorism facts are serious and worrying for American democracy. Terror Strategy of President Obama has put America at risk, on one hand President emphasize that safety of American citizen is very important, however holder and his action portray something else. By tying our nation's hands against an enemy that knows no rules or boundaries, the President is adding to the already considerable chance we will suffer a national catastrophe (www.nydailynews.com).

It is to suggest the least four major risk factors of terrorism exist in America because of which we can say it is still at risk. The first of them is the activity of illegal armed groups. A second risk factor is ambivalent and, in some cases, downright negligent of some governments in the region in the fight against terrorism. Third, attention should be paid to the presence of radical Islamist groups in regions such as the "Triple Frontier" (between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay). The growing involvement of extra-regional actors linked to the sponsorship of international terrorism constitutes a fourth and final terrorist risk factor in America (Alexander, 2008).

In recent years our country has adopted a series of effective measures to combat terrorism and to establish an effective national system of countering it. Despite that today America faces a constant threat that has diversified into a wide range of attacks, fire car bomb, and simultaneous suicide bombings, and attempted bombings on aircraft in flight passengers; the reason is new styles of Terrorism. New Styles of Terrorism appear in the country to keep the authorities busy waging many more wars on terror. In practice, there are specific styles of terrorism as in the "pure" and the "mixed" form. These are some old styles of terrorism but one technology is the major thing that makes them new and effective to terrorists.
