Richards, this book published in the year 1931 which marked the era when the Nazi's was enjoying the status of power in Germany. This book even today counted among as being the most celebrated book written on Alexander the great, who marked his own way in the course of history. The author Ulrich Wilcken born as stettinian and later came to known as the great German historian as well as papyrologist. The author was very famous for his effective yet lucid writing style, not only served the purpose of critics, but it also worked in favor of the readers.
