These intoxicating effects result in affecting the health of the person and also have many psychological and physiological effects. The effects vary from person to person depending on the level of alcohol consumption. According to medical science, alcohol consumption has a negative impact on the health of its user. The excess intake of alcohol can also result in damaging the different body organs of the individual (Anderson and Fuhr, 2009).

Every country has its own law and regulations related to the consumption of alcohol. The law is based on the culture and values of the people living in that country. The government and regulatory bodies regulate the level of alcohol consumption as this can help in avoiding several health issues and accidents. After a certain amount of alcohol, it is said that it is not safe for everyone. Alcohol consumption has several risks related to social well-being and health. People should be provided with relevant knowledge related to alcohol consumption and its effects, so that they avoid consuming it (Saitz, Ghali and Moskowitz, 1997).
