Introduction

The theory of education is derives from various disciplines such as Psychology, Philosophy, sociology and so on so forth (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.1). Education is immensely important in the lives of human beings for their survival in the society. Environment plays a vital role in education such as shaping up the personality it also moulds the character, effect social life of an individual. Education is not limited to shaping the Personality of individual in school life, but it is a process from life to death (Taneja, 2008, p.3). The main purpose of education is to rebuild the abilities, development of human either it is social, moral or intellectual and learned about perfectionism and the purpose of human being creation must be realized (Barennen, 1999, p.5).

Philosophy means total experience of a person (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.7) The beginners of philosophy and rationalist called it a science (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.5). Aristotle philosophy deals with Meta physics (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.6). After that Barkley, Locke & Hume claimed that metaphysics depends on experience so these corrective measures taken by rationalist according to them it is a sense experience, and it is all types of experience spiritual, religious, scientific & emotional experience (Sharma, 2006, p.2).

There are two types of philosophy of education one is of the dynamic nature. Dynamic nature is referred to social culture it can be varied from individual to individual, but there is a need of stability, when it varies from individual to individual there will be instability. Another type is the dynamic world it caters stable traits of reality one should have to keep both views under consideration (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.4). The direction of education is lost without philosophy as it is interlinked. Philosophy teaches moral, values and goals whereas education gives direction to those vales. Our life demands wisdom and knowledge both (Bhattacharya, 2006, p.2).

In the philosophy of education father of western philosophy Plato and Rousseau were educational thinkers and they came up with teaching and sense of education (Richard, 2010, p.37). According to them purpose of education should fulfil the needs of society and needs of a citizen (Thomas, 2012, p.18). Freire and Pestalozzi focused on moral or educational philosophy. Some philosophers argued that philosophy of education should involve the nature of existence called metaphysics and theory of knowledge focus on moral education and moral philosophy and aesthetics or economics called axiology; combination of all theories should make philosophy of education (Richard, 2010, p.22). Other philosophers argued that educational philosophy should focus on educational policies, evaluating education in a critical manner that is it involves topics of education, nature of knowledge of education and can express that has been taught to them (Schofield, 2012, p.89-95).
