Saudi Arabia is a wealthy state that has every single facility which people usually dream. It is the heart of the Islam and many people go there for finding good jobs and securing their careers. I disagree with the statement that people in Saudi Arabia have the ability to determine their professional and personal lives. There are many factors that force us to disagree with the statement, in which the most significant is the strict environment. Moreover, another factor includes gender discrimination, job opportunities, stress, education, training, working hours and so on.
Discussion
It has been observed that Saudi Arabia is a firm state where people are not allowed to live their lives in their style. We can find somber gender discrimination in the boundaries of Saudi Arabia as women have not given such freedom as other countries give. There is a restriction on women driving in Saudi Arabia as the government has prohibited them to issue any driving license. Moreover, girls also do not have such job opportunities in Saudi's land, they are preferred to stay at home and look after home chores (Bowen & Wayne, 2007). Therefore, Saudi Arabia does not provide such professional and personal life to female gender. On other hand, men also do not have such job opportunities, and if they have it so they would be required to stay under Saudi's rule. Arabs never allow someone to head them, although they have opened their land for the entire world, but never allows them to take over it. Government jobs are mostly designed for only Arabs, outsiders does not get such chance to gain those positions.
