Introduction

The legislation of Age discrimination act was passed in 2006 the parliament of United Kingdom in London. The intention for passing this act is to discourage the concept of ageism at workplace. In other perspective its purpose is to discourage the discrimination against any person based on their age. As an alternative all decision regarding employment need to be passed on the basis of skills and competencies rather than the age of person or employee.
