Introduction

A human being goes through different stages in life. The three main stages includes childhood, adulthood and old age. However, people are not exactly aware that when these three stages of age starts in their life. Everyone has a different start to their adulthood depending on the circumstances like the genetics, the era in which the person is living and the environment in which a time is being spent by the people. Adulthood can be described as completion of education, getting independent, or indulging into relationships and getting into parenthood. It can also be defined as identifying one's own self in the world they live. Living independently, like in many cultures, is not necessary. However, financial independence is enough to support a family for being considered as adulthood. Since there are many categories of ages that has relation to,adult status, there is a need to find a correct adulthood age. This will help many psychologists and sociologists in extracting valuable information about the correct adulthood age. There would not be any problem faced by them in the future for identifying correct adulthood age.

Discussion of different age groups

There is a major doubt in the person's mind regarding the commencement of adulthood in his or her life. Though, there is one only age that specifically describes the adulthood of a person. This fact is certainly one of the biggest challenge for the human being which they need to explore in their life. Adulthood occurs at different stages between men and women. Since women are less likely to be independent and they start their family life earlier than men, they achieve adulthood quicker than the men. Men, on the other hand, take time to get jobs and be well off to support or start families. This is the reason why adulthood starts later in their life. Economic differentiation has a big role to play in occurrence of adulthood between different classes. For the poor people, they have no monetary support, end education early and they start work early to support their families. Hence, they enter their adulthood early. On the other hand, richer families have kids studying until graduation and then look for jobs to become independent. Their adulthood starts later in their life. All these facts highlights the problems related to the proper identification of adulthood age. These are well-documented evidences that analyzes the problem related to defining an adulthood age.

Discussion of the relationship between adolescence and adulthood

Today, the prolonged adolescence, is another date for the new life that will be around for many future generations. The prolonged adolescence is not a distortion of the problem but rather a completely new stage of development which extends from 18 years to 20s. The solutions to this problem has corresponded to the new stage of development between adolescence and youth.
