Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP 1934-1939

Introduction

Adolf Hitler is one of the most popular icons of history, however, his fame is not because if his positive activities but for the evil acts due to which he rose to power and for spreading terrorist activities in the modern era. Adolf Hitler, Sadam Husain, and Osama Bin Laden are largely credited for re - introducing terrorist activities in the world. The case if Adolf Hitler is slightly different then the other two because he at that time was supported by a sufficient number of Germans who believed that his acts will bring Germany to economical stability and will restore the lands which were taken from Germany during the Treaty of Versailles.

Hitler is largely credited for World War 2 and for the lives of millions of people; however he was the face of the party if NSDAP but it was an evil team of his which brought immense chaos and terror in the European zone in the years of 1934 - 1939. Hitler had joined the party as a spy to monitor the activities of the former members who had left the German Worker's Party (GPW) but soon indulged with the party as the party had similar vision as to Hitler's vision (Rossino, 2003).

THE LEADER (1934-1939)

Adolf Hitler one of the most famous evil rulers of all time was an Austrian born German. He was an army officer who was sent to monitor the activities of German Worker Party and joined it in the year 1919. In the year 1921 he had become the leader fop the party. He was the leader of Nazi Germany in the World War 2.

Hitler was very clever and an opportunist, he utilized the great depression to his interest and by the year 1929 his referendum had gained him immense popularity in Germany for his Nazi - ideology. In the 1930 election Hitler's party had got the second highest percentage in the German parliament. In the 1932 presidential elections Hitler lost the elections but his popularity increased as his second defeat fetched him a vote bank of more than 35% votes.

After the compilation of elections Germany was still unable to improve its political condition and at that time the president was forced to appoint Hitler as the chancellor of Germany.

In the 1933 elections Hitler effectively used his power as chancellor to ensure that the opponents of NSDAP didn't have majority in the parliament and as a result NSDAP was the party with maximum seats of 43.9% share in the parliament but failed to make as singular government. Hitler introduced an Enabling Act which ensured that NSDAP was governing the parliament and the country for next four years. This enabling act provided Hitler with legal dictatorship and he had deceived the rest of the social parties by a verbal promise that the President will possess the veto power.
