Admission Essay for Master of Arts in Organizational Management Program

Goal setting is used by top-level athletes, successful business-people and achievers in all fields. Setting goals gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation. It focuses your acquisition of knowledge, and helps you to organize your time and your resources so that you can make the very most of your life.

By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals, and you'll see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. You will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your own ability and competence in achieving the goals that you've set.

I am a Saudi Arabian woman surrounded by a family of successful business men and leaders. Growing up in this exciting and supportive environment has made me eager to pursue higher education abroad as a means of acquiring the experience and knowledge I need in order to succeed in leading the business market. I look forward to leading a new trend of creative, powerful, and well educated young women who can contribute to the field both here in the United States and in the Middle East. My goals include reaching a higher level in my career and being a completely self dependent person. Acquire further information and skills and making the world a better place. Diminishing racism and the differentiating between people based on ethnic backgrounds especially in the professional environment.

Post graduate education and experience is fast becoming a requirement for the leading professional positions. In light of the current rapid Saudi economic development, there is a need for a workforce of young educated women equipped with strong backgrounds, solid preparation, and leadership qualities. Furthermore, the critical shortage of Saudi Arabian women with advanced degrees, is requiring that an immediate remedy must be found to bridge the gap. The need for Saudi Arabian females with Masters is crucial. I'm eager to become part of the solution rather than part of the problem. I look forward to becoming a leader and an example to the women who will follow.
